The MP3 files are now listed under a date that they where retrieved from http://www.arrl.org/w1aw/morse.html web page. The first four numbers are the date, the last two the speed, followed by WPM.mp3 If you have any problems, drop me a note at home@pcpractice.com I hope this site is helpful. I try to keep about 150 mp3 files on the site, in various speeds. And rotate them out every couple of months. If you would like a cd-rom of all the mp3's I have(400Megs), send me an email, the cost would be about $3-$3.50 in the USA. Not sure about international cost. I went and bought a RCA Kazoo model RD1060B, this holds about 64M of MP3's, so I have about 33files and about 200 mins of CW on it. It also has a memory card socket to hold another 100M I think. The MP3 files I have on this site are 16kb/s so need to be converted to 32kb/s at 16,000Hz to play well. WinAmp, Zinf and Windows Media player have no problems playing these files, but some play back software makes the play back sound like a seal with a sore throat. I believe this is due to the player playing at a minimum of 32kb/s and not the 16kb/s the files are encoded with. Enjoy Bryn Joynes N4VM
