Our Nurse Practitioner, Julie, recently resigned to take a position at Maury Regional Hospital. We are sorry to see her go but wish her the best of luck. During the next few months we are asking you to bear with us. To better serve you needs and adjust for this event we will need to implement some changes.

Appointments:

We will be restructuring the scheduling system in order to accommodate as many patients as possible. This will involve having certain time slots reserved for urgent problems only. These appointments will not be filled until that day.

Refills:

Prescriptions (refills or new) will be phoned into your drug store after 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Requests for phone-ins made after 4pm will be done the following day. You can check with your pharmacist after 4pm unless we notify you otherwise. This will help us to schedule nursing time more efficiently.

Nurse Calls:

We encourage you to ask questions regarding your medicines, tests, specialists etc. during your office visits. If, however, questions or problems arise you may speak with our nurse. Most phone calls will be returned from 11:30am - 12:30pm and from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. M, T, W, F. Once again this will help us with time management.

Test Results:

It is our usual practice to discuss all test results (x-rays, blood work etc.) during your follow up appointment. We will notify you by phone of abnormal test results. Most test results will be available within one week.
